Always Celebrate His Life

The Service was held on October 8th at 2:00 at Local Church Forsyth in Cumming, GA.

We came with a smile, a tear, stories, and comfort... knowing that he is at peace.

What Happened:

Alex caught Covid pneumonia at the end of August 2021 and within a few rough days found his oxygen levels dropping into the 80's while trying to treat from home. He was taken to Northside Forsyth hospital and spent the next several days trying to regain control of his oxygen levels. He was placed into a medically induced coma and on a ventilator once pneumonia took over and he was unable to breathe. He stayed in a full battle for his life for the next several weeks until 9/26/21.

It's not 100% clear how he caught it, but it would seem that a contractor he worked with had been sick and didn't think it was Covid. Alex was around him throughout the particular job and would have been exposed. That individual is okay and recovered without getting tested.

We are dumbfounded and full of disbelief that Alex, of all people, was taken down by this awful virus. Covid, and especially the Delta variant was dangerous. Whatever your take is on the subject, it took our beloved Alex.

Alex leaves behind his wife and step-daughter, Christina and Aubrey. We've all had a difficult time making sense of this.

Thank you for always being loving and compassionate Alex
